Computer Power User Magazine is an excellent magazine to read for those who have a general knowledge of technology, but get bored by the "how to use the internet" type of magazine. CPU offers insight into new technologies, as well as reviewing against what is currently out there. It offers opinions from certain writers, while offering facts in other sections. This is the best and subsequently the only computer magazine I read. Plus, at Mags4Cheap, I have also found the best price for a year, just under $26!

Computer Power User Magazine is the name of the magazine and is an accurate description of its topics. Articles are written by some of the Web's best authors including Alex St.John (father of Direct X), Anand Lal Simpi (Anandtech), Alex Ross (SharkyExtreme), Kyle Bennet (HardOCP), Rob Malda (Slashdot), and many more! These names alone should bring goose bumps to any hard core enthusiast.
You also get detailed reviews of bleeding edge hardware/software, as well as tips and tutorials for modding just about anything that has to do with computers...Not crappy mods like installing a fan on your case or something like that. I'm talking hard core mods!
There just isn't enough space to describe all the goodies in this publication. Bottom line...if you're into computer technology/software, digital culture, this magazine is a must have.

Computer Power User Magazine is a nice magazine; I'm very pleased with the subscription - so much so, that I've renewed it. The information is good and I'm able to get something out of each & every issue - information I would not have come across online on my own. As a side note, I was hesitant to purchase from Mags4Cheap however, my fears turned out to be unfounded and everything's turned out great.

Computer Power User is a good magazine to keep you abreast of the new technology entering the computer realm. Written on an intermediate to advanced level, this monthly magazine subscription addresses software and hardware interests as well as intellectual and ethical issues. As with many computer magazines, it tends to overemphasize the new power in the most recent CPUs' and video cards, yet it still provides much good advice for those of us content with our own systems.
